New Clothes Distribution 2023


“Joy of Giving” – Launch of SEESHA’s ‘New Clothes Distribution for 50,000 disadvantaged children’ in Chennai.

As part of SEESHA’s program for the holistic development of underprivileged children, SEESHA celebrates the year-end festive season by gifting several thousand new clothes to children from downtrodden communities and disaster-hit regions across India every year.

In an environment filled with unparalleled excitement and festivity at St. Paul's Auditorium, Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai on December 24th 2023, SEESHA's esteemed Founder, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, launched the distributionof New Clothes for 50,000 needy children across India.

It was a fabulous morning with a lively show of dance, cake cutting, and eager anticipation as members from the Founder’s Family including Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran, Bro. Samuel Paul Dhinakaran and baby Katelyn Anna Dhinakaran, joined the celebrations and gifted new clothes to 1200 children from disadvantaged communities around Chennai. The occasion of great joy for the children started with the welcome address from SEESHA’s Trustee, Adv. Easwaradhas.Members from 'Jesus Calls' senior management, SEESHA Team, press, and several community members joined the celebrations.

During the occasion, beneficiaries from SEESHA Learning Centresshared their experience of getting the wonderful opportunity of receiving a high-quality education through SEESHA’s after-school program and how their personalities have improved through SEESHA’s initiatives for their holistic development. The passed-out trainees from SEESHA’s Skill Development Programme (SDP) also showcased their work products and shared their transformative learning experiences at SEESHA, which carved their careers and supported their personal growth.Course completion certificates were distributed to beneficiaries who successfully completed SEESHA's vocational skills development training and Tally ERP courses.

The event was well-received and appreciated by all, especially by the benefited children and their families, as SEESHA’s ongoing support for their learning and psychosocial development ensured them of a hopeful future.
