New Clothes Distribution 2020

During the year-end festive season every year, SEESHA remembers the struggles of thousands of children who suffer silently with the humiliating consequence of poverty – inadequate clothing. Some of these children have lost one or both of their parents, are differently-abled, some live with HIV and few others live on the streets. To spark their joy, to boost their self-esteem and to lift their spirits, SEESHA reaches out to thousands of such children and gift them with new sets of clothing, each year.

In 2020 too, even amidst the Pandemic, children from various deprived backgrounds received joy in the form of new clothes across India. New clothes distribution for the year 2020 was inaugurated by Bro. Samuel Paul Dhinakaran at Vellapathy tribal hamlet in Coimbatore, in an effort to spark hope and joy in the lives of the most marginalized tribal children, who are at the receiving end of the pandemic’s economic fallout.

During the occasion, he also gifted blankets to underprivileged families and food aid program was organized, serving healthy food for several marginalized people in the community.
