Due to paucity of funds the present local management has sought the financial assistance from Seesha. After careful study of the project proposal and special concern on the tribal girl children, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran has agreed to support this project.
This Project is exclusively meant for orphan / semi-orphan, deserted destitute children of tribal community of Phulabani and Gajapathi districts where they had recent catastrophe (communal violence). These Tribal orphan children are reading exceptionally well in comparison to their counterpart in the Urban area. The Buckley Girls Hostel (Orphanage) is located at Mission Road, P.O: Buxi Bazar, Cuttack – 753 001, Orissa.
Seesha’s role is to provide food, clothing, education and medical care for these orphan / semi-orphan, deserted destitute children of tribal community. This will be a boon for these children and will give a hope for their bright future.
We had a formal inauguration of the partnership with CNI and Seesha Buckley orphanage. The name board was changed to Seesha Buckley Orphanage for Girls to the previous of Buckley Home. The Bishop of Cuttack diocese blessed the function over phone. There were 40 children who attended the function. A cultural program was performed by the children in the Oriya & English language which exhibited the hidden talents of the children.
The treasurer and the members of the committee expressed their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran for supporting this noble cause and said that their prayers were heard by God and thus sent the support from Seesha.
