Bihar is one of the most backward states of India. The literacy rate in Bihar is low comparatively with the southern states. This initiation was started when we went for flood relief operations in Bihar in the month of August 2007. We have been introduced to Ps. Baiju Bhai Bhandari, (09955249870) ELM Church, Laheriya Sarai of Dharbanga district by Mr. Solomon John, Ranchi. In fact we stayed in this place.
When we started working with flood victims in Dharbanga, we met several local leaders and particularly with Pastor. Baiju Kumar Bhandari, Dharbanga, and Bro. Vidya Sagar Mani, Pandual, who identified the needy children in Dharbanga and Madhubani districts of Bihar.
Most of the identified children are orphan or semi orphaned. Monthly scholarships are provided to each child for their education. Seesha
Representative at Bihar distributes the fund to the child at the right time every month.
