Seesha organizes Vacation Bible School Classes for Tuition Center students during summer holidays every year. The program provides fun – filled learning activity based, applying lessons learned to real life.
Activity in 2010-2011
A summer camp was organized for 10 days for the students of Seesha Tuition centers with 900 children, during the summer vacation. In this camp, moral values were taught to the students through stories, fun-filled learning activities, songs, dances, real time lessons and drams\a based on the scriptures. Trained teachers & volunteers involved themselves with great enthusiasm. Many children from the tuition centers and from nearby places chipped in with grand zeal. Prizes were distributed to the children for their dazzling performances.
Biannual training programs are conducted to motivate and better equip tuition teachers with modern teaching skills and methodologies to coach students. This program was offered in all Seesha Tuition Centers on May 30th 2009.
Career guidance for Government School students are provided at the end of every academic year at Chennai & Coimbatore to make a well informed choice on their higher education.
National level competitions for Special Children/Differently abled are held to encourage and motivate them to bring out their talents. In the month of April 2009, about 120 students from free tuition centers functioning at Minjur, Chennai participated. Apart from quiz program these students were counseled on how to prepare for their examinations.
Financial assistance for basic amenities and infrastructure which include provision for clean drinking water, better sanitation facilities, activity room for extra-curricular activities, computers, library, furniture, boards and other educational supplies are provided for educational institutions on request. The objective of this program is to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for children.
