SEESHA – Samiti for Education Environment Social & Health Action is committed to accountability to the children, the community whom we serve and our donors.
Consistent History of Recognition for Accountability
Because of high ratio of program benefits and consistent quality of service delivery, Seesha is repeatedly recognized by its efficiency and high level of fiscal responsibility in consumers.
We value the recognition from the local leaders, Panchayat Presidents, Municipal Chairman/Mayor, CEO’s, DEO’s, AEO’s, Collectors and reputed institutions. We have number of letters from the above referred bodies appreciating our services to the communities.
Seesha has a solemn commitment to the responsible stewardship of your generous donations. Every effort is made to minimize overheads—so we can make the most of every Rupee we receive.
Public support is critical to fulfill the mission of Seesha. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent on resources voluntarily provided to assist children and the community in need. We are keenly aware of our responsibility to our donors as well as to the children and the people we serve.
Extensive financial and program accountability checks are in place to monitor and measure the effective use of funds. From initial planning to the actual delivery of services to the community, Seesha monitors, examines and evaluates the programs to make sure that the much-needed benefits effectively reach the people whom we serve.
Measures of Success
In each community where Seesha works, local staff and volunteers regularly meet with the families of sponsored children to collect health and education data of all the children in the family. This data is monitored for indications of progress in areas of health, nutrition, access to safe water, sanitation practices, adult literacy and school enrolment. This is done to identify priorities for new programs to address the needs of the children and the community in which they live.
